Virtual East Java Exploration Through WAEJUC Consortium 2020
In August, 10 of the universities in East Java province carried out an activity called Online East Java Exploration 2020 batch 1. University of Trunojoyo Madura was one of the hosts of this event. The ongoing COVID-19 in Indonesia, it is not possible to carry out activities that involve many people, especially foreigners. Therefore, this year it will still be carried out online.
Trunojoyo Madura University with the IRO team presented a topic entitled Madura at Glance and Learning Madura Language delivered by Darul Hikmah, SS, M.Pd. and Dr. Rusmilawati Windari, SH, MH. It is hoped that raising this topic can make Madura easily recognized by foreigners.
The topics brought by each university made the participants especially from abroad such as Japan, Philippines, USA, and Africa enthusiastic about learning about culture, language, and knowledge, especially from East Java. They actively ask questions from easy to difficult. Even though the event is held online, it does not mean that this activity is boring because in addition to the material presentation, each university has fun activities.
